Company Overview

We started this company with a mission to create a positive cash flow while protecting the original investment and wealth.

Three board members each have over 20 + years of experience as an investor. Investors carry a different level of responsibility than mere being a consultant, an agent/broker, or a financial institute. Investors have skin in the game. We feel the pain when things go wrong. We learned and gained experiences through ``school of hard knocks`` which stay forever in the back of our brain; the value that cannot achieve as a third party in any transaction.

We came up with a system that limits the risk while creating a high return every month via cash flow. Understanding you have a positive cash flow will strengthen your financial portfolio and relieve the stress of involving in other volatile financial instruments and businesses. We will guide you to financial freedom.

Company History

This is Michael Jone's Superior Real Estate which was the company name before changed to Terrapen Fund to allow highly respected professionals to join me.

  • 1997

    First Acquisition

    It was Michael's first acquisition for cash flow. Paid $190,000 (30% down) for a net cash flow of $500+ per month, 10% a year return. I still own this property as of 2018. This property values $850,000 and gets me $3,500 cash flow per month with loans paid off.

  • 2003

    Rapid Expansion - Out of State Properties

    I gained a lot of confidence. I was watching Las Vegas and Miami market to explore. I acquired several SFRs and multi-units. I failed when 2007 came. I was too leveraged. I did not know much about managing the property out of state. I was trusting everything with my brokers and property management company. I learned my lesson. I never had any of my property foreclosed. I sold them at a loss or made all the payments. I still own a few properties from that period.

  • 2017

    Rule 1 Algo - The Objective Investing System

    After the 2008 financial crisis, I was back to the drawing board and tried to come up with an objective investing system that can severely limit the risk and still create a consistently high return cash flow. I researched many strategies, tips & tricks, and educations. The Rule 1 Algo was designed in 2017. I had to go through many tweaks in real life before I call it ``Rule 1 Algo,`` the objective real estate investing system

    Terrapen Fund

    Over the years, I met many professionals and investors in the industry. I gathered these highly respected professionals to form a venture with a mission statement of creating financial freedom for many people. Help people achieving their financial independence while protecting their investment and protect new found wealth implementing various tax and legal strategies offer by our professional partners. Terrapen Fund is established to achieve the mission statement.
